Relocating to NC from NJ

I am probably going to be moving to NC within the next couple of
years. I would like to be somewhere between Charlotte and
Greensboro. I DO NOT want to be in a "rough" neighborhood. What area
would you suggest that I start looking in? I also need there to be a
strong Muslim community in the vicinty.

We have a very good Muslim community in Winston Salem, NC.  I have been living in WS for over 12 years.  I would suggest Winston Salem to you.  If you have questions or concerns about specific things, please let me know and I will try to answer as much as I can.

Me and my family move here from NY about 2 years ago. We live in Jamestown which is between Greensboro and High Point.

To answer your question it depends on what you are looking for.

To be honest its will be alot slower the NJ. Some areas are alot slower then others. If you target Winston Salem I suggest you visit the area first because alot of Winston Salem are still farm land with tobacco fields.

If you are looking for a more lively are then move to charlotte.

As for the Muslim community there are a few masjids to choose from.
