MorLUG is the Morgantown Linux User Group, and exists to help the Free and Open Source Software community in the North-Central West Virginia region. Meetings are held on or around the campus of West Virginia University. MorLUG does not charge dues and has no official membership process. Members are considered people who regularly attend meetings and participate in the community.

No particular knowledge is required to participate, simply a technophile's curiosity. MorLUG is free for anyone to attend, participate in, and contribute to. We're always looking for fresh ideas and people who would like to talk about interesting subjects at meetings, so feel free to suggest something! So if that sounds like you:

• Participate - Come to meetings, meet other technophiles.
• Advertising - MorLUG could always use creative folks who are willing to help us spread the word.
• Speak at a meeting - Something cool you'ld like to share? Ping us and let us know, maybe others want to learn about it.

Beyond those, feel free to just show up at a meeting. Keep checking this website for information on meeting statuses. Threewide .com has volunteered meeting space at its office for evening/weekend meetings. If you would like to get in touch with people involved in MorLUG, such as to volunteer your time, make suggestions, or to schedule a meeting to speak at, those are the best ways to go about it.
