It's seems to not working well at all under devices - event on the demo page http://cpojer.net/MooTools/mobile/Demos/
I tried on

android galaxy 2, iphone 4, ipad 3
You have to swipe serveral times in order for it to work

Anyone knows something about it ?
and if so - is there other touch events I can use using mootools im my mobile devices ?

even more ... accepted? mainstream solutions do not offer a level playing feel to swipe events. eg. Hammer.js works wonderful on ios webkit (safari and chrome) and on andorid chrome and firefox, but in the native andorid browser, it has a different sensitivity/velocity and it is very hard to trigger. you need to create per-device/browser sensitivity/velocity settings on your events for the ones that don't work out of the box.

It might also be that it's just the demos that are outdated.

As far as I tested the swipe event works..

I've been using powertools but swiped (ack. bad pun) the swipe code from Ian's MooTouch framework and then updated it so that I can capture both horizontal and vertical swipes:

PowerTools code has worked for me as well on most devices, though sometimes not super clean. I agree with Dimitar that it needs perhaps per-device tweaks to get it more fluent.
Also tested MooTouch a few times and wanted to compare but didn't have time yet to sit down for it. Haven't touched hammer.js yet.

We have a Sony Tap running Windows 8 at the office, and the swipe works with PowerTools as well, though sometimes it does feel a bit shitty.
Why can't there just be 1 100% perfect solution for all devices and browsers huh? :)
