Thanks for attending the Camporee this spring and making it a Pouring
Success… Sorry. Pun Intended.****

As all are aware we had to cut the Camporee short due to weather. In hind
site (as I was the last one off the property) we could have gutted it out…
and in the old days when there were no radios, cell phones, weather radios…
etc we would have. I hope you all understand that when a childs live is in
my care, regardless of the chances, I will opt to take the safe road. I
hope you agree that it was in our best interest to call it.****

That said, we failed to get the Campfire and Order of the Arrow Tap Out
ceremony completed. In an attempt to finish this, Moore District would like
to invite all troops and their affiliated Cub Packs and Parents to join us
for a short Order of the Arrow fellowship and tap out ceremony. April
15th Sunday
we will meet at Camp Durant Campfire Arena (park at Sullivan Center and
walk down) at 3:00 pm. Snacks and refreshements will be served immediately
following. We would like everyone there about 2:30-2:45 as the ceremony
will begin promptly at 3:00. This will be a great time for those in your
Troop to dust off those OA Sashes and show their support. Please make sure
all elected candidates are there and notify David Williamson or Tim Cameron
that you will attend. Please help us have a good showing with this. Thanks
again for Supporting Moore District Scouting.****
