Here's an authentic recipe for a quick, "just right" midnight snack
called Strammer Max. I got the recipe from a little gasthaus in the
town of Esslingen, Germany.

This open faced sandwich has less than 14 carb grams per serving. It's
a good Maintenance snack and a nice addition of fiber at the end of the
