Hello everyone.
I am the middle school English teacher that tagged along with Renee (from Chester)...believe in all you do, and have simply followed along until I am teaching high school English and can join in along with you.
I am in search of a teaching unit.
One of you presented at MEA in missoula a couple years ago...a unit on the novel Out of the Dust. I borrowed the unit and taught with it. My students loved the novel and the unique approach.
In a recent move to a new classroom two boxes of materials "disappeared". The unit was in one of the boxes. I do not remember who I got these materials from.
Does anyone out there have a clue for me as to where I can get a new set of these teaching materials? I can teach the novel without them, but it would be an injustice. This unit is just too good!
Thanks for your help.
Amy
Thoughts on getting home. . .
Montana would be a better place if kids were writing MHP essays and reading them to real audiences.

| I remember that the lady from Harlowton gave the presentation at MEA. What was her name? Argh!. I can't remember her name, but I am pretty sure she retired last year. I don't have the unit anymore, otherwise I would send it. Best of luck though. How's it going by the way? I am two minutes away from spring break, so life is good.
