We've been using Mono.Addins as part of the OpenSim project, and are
running into a couple of issues that are causing us some pain. I'm
hoping that folks here might have some suggested work arounds.

Is it possible to specify an alternate folder for addins? We're
running into an issue where we'd like to seperate out our assemblies
into a couple of folders, including different plugin folders. Right
now it seems that we can only load from the main bin directory (unless
I'm missing something).

Is it possible to supress the scan Errors for .dll files? Because we
are cross platform, and work on windows as well as linux, we have a
bunch of native .dll files. This causes lots of "ERROR:" messages on
start which confuse our users, as they aren't actually errors at all.

Thanks in advance,

-Sean

Right now it is not possible to supress those errors. I'm adding this
feature to my TODO list.

Lluis.

Excellent.  This one fix will cut out a huge number of our reported bugs.  Can't wait till it's in.
