Hello,

How do you guys know that unstable branch is stable enough? Do you rely solely on users feedback or do you have a variety of databases built in house and you're load testing them too?

I'm mainly curious about 2.0 -> 2.2.

Thank you.

Hi Oct, we rely on a few methods to vet the stability of our releases including:

1) Our functional testing suite (which you can see at https://github.com/mongodb/mongo/tree/master/jstests)
2) Our performance testing suite (conducted in-house)
and
3) Community feedback about our release candidates (collected here and through JIRA)
