Upgrade recommendation

Hi, we are using version 1.8.1 now and I am wondering if I should upgrade to 1.8.3 or 1.9.x or wait for 2.0 GA. I could not make up much from the release so I am wondering what's the recommendation.

The reason for upgrade is we never upgraded since the initial install many months back and we want to take up any enhancements made to mongodb after that. Thanks.

At this point 2.0 ga is not a bad idea.
