hi there
after i upgrade mongo to 1.6.2, it cannot start automatically. I have
to start it manually, which is totally unexpected.
I tested the 64-bit version as well, and fortunately it works.
I use ubuntu 10.04.
here are the details.
~ $ uname -a
Linux mars-laptop 2.6.32-24-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 20 14:24:04
UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
~ $ mongod --version
db version v1.6.2, pdfile version 4.5
Tue Sep 7 21:08:32 git version: aef371ecf5d2a824f16ccdc3b745f3702165602f
~ $ mongo
MongoDB shell version: 1.6.2
connecting to: test
Tue Sep 7 21:08:39 Error: couldn't connect to server 127.0.0.1} (anon):1137
exception: connect failed
~ $ service mongodb start
