No of configServer should be ther in sharded setup ? even or odd

Hi

I have 6 shards, Each shard has has 3 Nodes in Replica set model In
different Data Center.
8 Mongos , each on one app server.

How many configServer should be ther in sharded setup ? even or odd

There are only two numbers for how many config servers you should have - 1 (for testing) or 3 (for production) - and that is on a per sharded cluster basis.  So, if you have 6 shards, but just one cluster (which is what it sounds like from your description), then you should have 3 config servers.
