I'm new to mongodb and wonder if I can connect my simple configuration mongodb directly to a jqgrid-based webpage. My database is small and pretty simple (nested hashes though, that need to be surfaced as subgrids to jqgrid).
So is it possible to use mongodb rest api as a direct connection to jqgrid? e.g., with no intervening webserver.

hi Roman, thanks! That thread is definitely what I'll do if I have to, I was just thinking that I could go straight from the ui page to the mongodb without using bottle. It does look pretty simple though. Thanks for the link. --Tim
