sleepy mongoose startup script

trying to figure out best folder location to put sleepy mongoose files
on our servers - running ubuntu and debian - has anyone created a
startup/shutdown script ?

Not helpful for you, but if anyone has scripts, please let me know so I can add/link to from https://github.com/10gen-labs/sleepy.mongoose.

I was going to try to make one up based on mongodb's but was trying to figure out right place to put the mongoose files - I can put them in /usr/local and simply cd in from a script in /etc/init.d   but somehow don't feel that's right - I'll do it, post it and maybe someone will correct it
