Version 1.8 of the C#/.NET driver is now available

Version 1.8 of the C#/.NET driver is now available.

This is a major release.

This release has two major goals: to support the new features of the 2.4 release of the server and to begin preparing the path for some major cleanup in the 2.0 release of the driver by marking as obsolete in the 1.8 release items that we plan to remove in the 2.0 release.

Note: github no longer allows uploading binaries so they are now hosted on Amazon S3.

Note: if you download the zip file, depending on how you unzip the file you may need to "Unblock" the help file. You can do so by right clicking on the "CSharpDriverDocs.chm" file and selecting Properties, and then clicking on the "Unblock" button. You will need to "Unblock" the help file if you see the message "Navigation to webpage was canceled" where the help text would normally appear.
