Not all work-at-home jobs are scams. Some of them like article
writing, medical transcription, data entry, billing and coding and
many others are real and pay like regular jobs. In this scenario,
there are a lot of employers that do not and would not employ an
international for a few legit reasons. Of them, we have the following:
? Managing and paying an International might be difficult for various
reasons. Every country has its rules and norms regarding their banking
structures and it might be difficult for the employer to penetrate
through all these difficulties and offer paychecks at regular
intervals ? Secondly, there are a lot of fraud applicants from other
Nations that are difficult to comprehend. It would be unwise to say
that U.S is free of these kinds of frauds but it is easier to fact-
check an US applicant or his company during the hiring process. ?
Lastly, the greatest of all barriers could be Language. Though most of
the countries have adapted to English being their second language,
there are still some issues with it. An employer for a customer
service job for example, would not want a non-native speaker to answer
his company calls!
Reasons could be aplenty. But the fact remains that a Non-U.S citizen
is undergoing a tough time finding work at home jobs especially that
are owned and operated by English speaking Nations.
A good solution to this problem for an international could then be to
frequently visit freelancing sites and accept lower paying jobs
initially. They may solicit for more work and pay once their
portfolios have been established and have been recognized as
dependable outworkers by these very U.S based companies across the
globe!
