Michael Yuan:
Michael Yuan is a co-founder at Ringful.com. Ringful provides an API platform and application framework for multi-modal mobile applications, including mobile / web based telephony apps, SMS / MMS applications, as well as iPhone / Android / BlackBerry apps. He has extensive experience with the iPhone app store, with one application in the top 100 best seller list, one rejected application, and several apps in between. He has also had a top rated application in the Cydia app store for Jialbroken iPhones. Michael is a contributor to several high profile open source projects such as JBoss, Seam Framework, and Mozilla Labs. David Gill:
David Gill is Director of Client Services at The Nielsen Company, the world’s largest information and media company with leading positions in marketing and media information, online intelligence and business publications. In this role, David oversees client solutions for Portals and Publishers, both advertising supported content as well as mCommerce. Prior to Nielsen, David was a Senior Director at M:Metrics and spent eight years with Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor in various sales and business development roles, both in the US and Europe. David is a frequent speaker and panelist at mobile industry events and is considered an expert in providing insight into consumer activity on the "3rd screen". He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin and lives in Austin, Texas. Andrew Donoho: Andrew Donoho is an independent technology strategist who has been working with emerging web and mobile client and server technologies over more than 10 years. Because of his tenure at IBM and in small entrepreneurial companies, he can provide a unique view of how these technologies affect both large and small businesses. From a technical perspective, he was an early participant in crafting XHTML v1.0 and v1.1 and SVG v1.0. He has been creating and pushing implementations of the bi-directional web since 1999 and has extended that idea to building a Co-Web with a scalable UI for the last 18 months. Currently, he has a small, stealth-mode iPhone development business and is available for technical strategy consulting. He is trained in experimental physics with a degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Austin with his wife. The next MobileMonday Austin is scheduled for Feb 23rd. The topic is on rich/local applications (iPhone and Android), and App Stores.
