What:

A first-of-its-kind mobile start-up partnership program called Mobile Futures, launched this month by Mondelēz International (formerly the snacks division of Kraft Foods), which is planning to invest 10 percent of their global marketing budget in mobile activations and channels across the entire consumer journey.

 

Why:
Selected mobile startups will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with Mondelēz International’s power brands (Oreo, Trident, Ritz, and others) to accelerate their mobile innovations. Brand teams will collaborate with the startups to activate paid pilots in-market within 90 days. The program will offer big-time scale, access to in-depth consumer insights, in-market testing and data collection, as well as provide real visibility to increase awareness of participating startups with end-users, potential customers and investors. Startups will also have access to the deep talent, connections, and resources of the Mobile Futures Network, which includes: Viacom, AT&T AdWorks, Prehype, Kicklabs, Excelerate Labs, First Round Capital, Commerce Ventures, Transmedia Capital, BlueRun Ventures, Intel Capital, OCA Ventures, Sandbox Industries, BCG, and the Mobile Marketing Association.

The submission window is open now through Friday, November 9th at 5 p.m. ET, and if you fit the below criteria you can apply at mobilefutures.com

 

Who:

Mobile startups that fit the following criteria:

·          Less than four years old

·          Have working technology that can be put into the US marketplace immediately

·          Have either have received outside funding above $1MM or have participated in / been accepted into an incubator program

·          Operate in one of three mobile consumer engagement / path-to-purchase categories:

o   Mobile at Retail

o   Social TV

o   SoLoMo (Social, Local, Mobile)
