Senior Development Director needed

This is an opportunity to work with top talent in a rapidly growing
area of mobile development with the newest mobile devices including
the iPhone, Palm Pre, Android and Blackberry as well as emerging
mobile browsers and technology. This person will have a hands on roll
in creating, defining and developing the engineering leadership
functions at Phunware.

Responsibilities:
Working with the CTO, provide leadership and direction for all
engineering and development activities at Phunware.

Requirements
-B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science
-8-10 Years of experience
-Mastery of Objective C, Cocoa, iPhone SDK, Mac platforms
-Examples of mobile apps you've built
-Demonstrated ability to lead a group of engineers through the
completion of all phases of a major project
-Creating High Level Architecture
-Ability to effectively communicate and interact cross functionally
with groups in house and remotely
-Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability,
performance and reliability aspects
-Ability to create and work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative
and iterative programming environment
-Past game development a big plus
-Hands on – Roll up sleeves and code if needed
-Experienced with dev tools and environments (CVS, bugzilla
-Experience/Knowledge of game engines (ShiVa, Unity, Torque)
-Know what is available in Open Source

Other considerations:
-UI centric and customer driven. Good user experiences are the key to
our success.
-Experience and Knowledge in OOP design patterns.
-Good user interface development experience on especially on mobile
devices.
-Good business sense and ability to see the big picture.
