Direct Taxes For Startups

Direct Taxes For Startups:

A knowledge of taxes is necessary for any growing business. The multitude of taxes – income tax, service tax etc are like traps that the Start-up could lose sight of and fall prey to compliance issues. It is therefore important that before starting one’s business, a basic knowledge of these taxation issues is  obtained. Entrepreneurs are often found asking their accountants professionals - "What costs or expenses are deductible?" – If you are looking to get some of your taxation queries clarified, do drop in to IIMB on May 4th 2013 at 9:30 AM.

Generally, taxes could fall either into Direct Taxes or Indirect Taxes. Taxes levied directly on the income earned is called Direct Taxes and this would be the Subject matter of “Direct Taxes For start-ups” anchored by Prof. L. Sridhar  of IIMB.
