My book about keeping a travel journal is out! Thanks for all your help...
Hi everyone... Just wanted to let you know my book about keeping a travel journal is finally out! It's called WRITING AWAY: A Creative Guide to Awakening the Journal-Writing Traveler. It was published by Travelers' Tales. Thanks for your help along the way, those of you who answered questions and gave feedback and provided insight. Yes, if you were... more »

tried a spiral notebook, went back to the moleskine cahier
This weekend, I decide to give the spiral notebook a try. So I bought a relatively cheap (under $4) one from Bob Slate stationer: heavy- weight paper, unruled, 80 pp, with a Harvard University insignia on the cover. But after writing in it for about 8 hours, I had to go back to the Moleskine XL Cahier.... more »

good spiral notebook?
This might be heresy here, but I'm looking for a good spiral-bound notebook with perforated pages. I've been using Moleskine XL cahiers and have been very happy with them. But a spiral-bound notebook can lie more flat and more compact, and I'm missing that convenience. Can anyone suggest a good brand? I'd prefer non-white pages and slightly... more »

Mojo London
Hello all, Does anyone have any experience of dealing with these people, especially when there's a problem with their order? I received my leather diary on Thursday, but since there was a problem with it, I've tried to contact them about it. No reply so far from any of their email addresses. I haven't had a chance yet to think about phoning... more »

Moleskinerie Discussion Taboo
Is there anyway for us to clean up the "Pages" and "Files" section of the discussion group? I would enjoy responding and revisiting the discussion group more often if there weren't advertisements and files uploaded, that appear on the front page, that are solicitations to look at porn. I'd like to keep my eyes and heart as far away from that crap as I... more »

Accent Pen?!?
Hola, I am investigating using Highlighters in my moleskines for a variety of reasons--mostly information that I want to copy somewhere else is getting harder to find! Is anyone else is doing this? So far my experience has been very informative...The first thing I learned is that Highlighter appears to be a brand name for "accent pens", who... more »

Fujitsu ScanSnap 510 + Moleskine Cahiers
I recently bought a Fujitsu ScanSnap 510 for Macintosh computers. It's a sheet-fed scanner than can scan 100+ pages of double-sided sheets in just a few minutes. I started using it to scan in my Moleskine (XL) Cahiers, and it's been fantastic. I cut a Cahier along the binding and separate the pages.... more »

Reading Notebooks
Hola, I have recently started reading the Susan Sontag journals which I find amazing. My knowledge of Sontag was mostly from reading small pieces of hers when I was in college--the depth and breadth of her thinking is amazing. Anyone know what kind of notebook she used? Certainly feels like a Moleskine user to me...... more »
