On behalf of all the members of Veterans-For-Change, we’d like to wish
you all a very Happy and Joyous Thanksgiving Holiday!

Be safe, have fun, enjoy family and friends!

Congratulations to Mr. James Cripps of Tennessee for having won the
first VA Claim for Agent Orange Exposure in the United States!

He had a long and uphill battle, but with the help of his VSO Mr.
Steve Jones who fought like hell for Mr. Cripps, went well more than
the extra mile and together they won the claim!

Veterans-For-Change is currently asking for small donations of $5 or
$10 to help insure children from two veteran families have Christmas
this year!

Mrs. Ward of Mishawaka, Indiana, whose husband recently passed. Mrs.
Ward has five children, Justin & Jason (the twins 6 yrs old.), Duncan
(9 yrs old), Pamela (10 yrs old), and Michael (14 yrs old).

And Ms. Kristina Sawyckyi of Colorado Springs, Colorado has three
children, Noah who is age 7, Danny who is age 5, and Sara Rose who is
age 3.

We’re asking one more time for anyone who would be able to donate
maybe $5-10 each to help buy Christmas gifts for the children to
please go to the PayPal link at the bottom right of our main web page:

easy and secure way you can make a difference in all their lives!

Finally after weeks of a lot of programming in the background and a
tremendous thanks to our Programmer and Webs Master, Anthony, the
Veterans-For-Change Website is on-line!

So far we’ve added over 170 web links to tons of useful and needed
information about many topics and there are a planned 400 more to be
added over the coming weeks!

We opened up the files library two days ago and already we have more
than 80 files uploaded with another 2,000 to come, also over the next
few weeks.

A few stories have been posted, information about what to ask your
doctor, and the H1N1 vaccine!

Be sure to visit at: www.veterans-for-change.com

And if you register while on the site you’ll also continue to get the
newsletter, have full access to the files library, all at no cost!

So come check us out, and pass the information along!

We’ve seen this in the news on CNN who hosted a special approximately
one month ago about the male breast cancer cluster at Camp LeJeune,
North Carolina.

Many of the current and former military bases used these chemicals,
they were disposed of into the group which in turn contaminated the
water supply. Over 130 bases are on the EPA Superfund List.

To help spread the word, bring to light all the illnesses and deaths
which have been caused by these chemicals and hopefully put us one
step closer to getting the bill signed and passed.

What we (VFC) needs is for all veterans, spouses, widows, family,
friends of veterans to please request a copy of the petition, sign it,
get 14 more signatures and send copies off to all on your private E-
Mailing lists and request they too help.

For a copy of the bill and the petition, E-Mail: Jim.Davis@Veterans-
For-Change.com

Were you stationed at MCAS El Toro, were you a student at the base
school? Have you or someone you know been sick, ill, or has passed
away from cancer or some other illness?

Please write to me ASAP: Jim....@veterans-for-change.com

Are you a veteran over the age of 70, or have a claim that’s been
pending for more than a year with the VA?

One of the members of Veterans-For-Change informed me there is a
special group within the VA System which was mandated by Congress to
address claims for veterans who are over age 70 and those who have
claims pending for more than a year!

If you happen to fall into either category, please contact your VSO
and ask if your claim meets the criteria and qualifications of the
“Tiger Team”!

The only office for the Tiger Team is based out of the Cleveland, Ohio
Regional Office.

The research questionnaire response so far has been good, but we still
need more veterans who served in Korea to participate.

Veterans-For-Change is distributing a questionnaire to veterans
pertaining to service in Korea to help us gather statistical
information in our ongoing efforts to correct the wrongs and to assist
in declassifying many missions in Korea so that veterans such as you
will be able to gain the benefits and services needed from the VA
System.

This questionnaire is anonymous, you do not need to provide personal
contact information if you’re not comfortable with this.

However, if you do provide personal contact information it will be
kept 100% confidential, will not be given to any member of Congress,
the VA or the DoD, nor will it be sold to any company for any reason
what-so-ever.

Statistical information will be used to compile a report to submit to
various members of Congress in our efforts to declassify all missions
25 or more years ago so that all veterans can apply for and gain the
much needed benefits and medical care/services needed and long over
due.

If you’re interested in participating, please send an E-Mail to:
Jim....@veterans-for-change.com

We’ll respond with a short two page questionnaire you can return via
US Mail or E-Mail.

We need members who can volunteer 30-60 minutes per month to help
determine hot issues that need to be addressed by the members of
Congress to provide better benefits, facilities, care and treatment to
all veterans and to help get our monthly letters out to all these
members.

If interested please check out the group at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VETERANS-FOR-CHANGE/

Veterans-For-Change is also in the process of becoming a full 501(c)
(3) non-profit organization. We’ll continue with out current mission,
and will be expanding to add more and more programs over the coming
months.

A special award recognition program for veterans, spouses and their
children, a small college scholarship program for children of
veterans, a small emergency relief fund for veterans in need, and
more.

If you’re able to make a small donation of $5 or $10 or more to help
in the cause and fight please go to:

www.veterans-for-change.com

Please be sure to pass this news mailing on to your friends! If
you’d like to receive these weekly and are not on the list, E-Mail
Jim....@veterans-for-change.com

As you’ve read in the past scammer Linda K. May has surfaced again in
Texas, but got booted out of a veterans home once they learned she was
a scammer!

The Brownsville Department of health brought a charge against her and
Ms. May was fined $2,500.00 and yet has been able to collect on it.

She managed to get herself on one of the Veteran’s day floats in Waco,
Texas, attempted to talk to one of the Congressmen.

Her attempt to solicit a Congressional Signature on a contract failed,
and she never did meet the Congressman to my knowledge.

We’re still trying to find out who paid her way there and who
eventually paid for her hotel room once she was evicted from the
Veteran’s home.

As soon as the article is posted on the local newspapers site we will
bring you this too!

Again, if you are ever contracted by Ms. May, avoid her like the
plague! And look for the documentation from the Brownsville Health
Department to be posted at www.veterans-for-change.com !

If you live in Michigan, Illinois or California, call your Attorney
General and ask why they’ve not taken any action on the complaints
file with their offices against this fraud!
