Request lifetime questions, temp files

Prompt please, where in the documentation to read about time of life
of http request?

Following things interest:

1. Creation and storage of the variables living only in a context of
one http request.

2. The organization of removal of temp files during the request
termination.

I try to make the controler which would send a temporary static file,
and would delete it after return it to the browser.
