Hey guys,

I was wondering, who is maintaining the set of Debian packages which
are available on the Google Code web site for download? I would like
to help and/or combine efforts in order to ensure that we have latest
version available (including an addition of mogilefs-network package).

Thanks for help in advance :)

Hi

Currently it's me. I am happy to join forces. The packaging code on github should be up to date despite the changelog. So feel free to submit patches.

The build/upload can be automated very easy.

Greetings
Andre

Excellent :-)

Is it the same code that resides under the "debian" directory on the
MogileFS github on per-project basis? Or, is it on your github?

Sure thing! No problem :)

That is my goal too. Getting fixes and patches into packages is also a
nice thing to have.

Hi,

I did my best to package latest versions:

MogileFS-Server : 2.56
MogileFS-Client : 1.15
MogileFS-Utils : 2.22
MogileFS-Network : 0.01 *

Perlbal : 1.79

* does this one even have a version number? :)

Additionally:

HAProxy : 1.4.18 (amd64)
nginx : 1.0.11 (amd64)

nginx was built with the following modules added (aside of what Debian
enables by default): nginx-echo, nginx-mogilefs, nginx-upstream-fair,
nginx-upstream-carp, nginx-http-consistent-hash, nginx-headers-more
and nginx-zip.

All of them are available to download from here: http://deadbeef.info/tmp/mogilefs/

There is a new version of this package too: 0.05; also as per push and
tag on github :)

Thank you for your work on this Krzysztof,

I'm working on getting the danga projects all into debian proper (if
they're not already)... a week ago or so I got perlbal accepted into
debian unstable, and it may be migrating into testing in a few days
here.

I hope you don't mind... I'm going to extend the work you've done and
try to get these up for inclusion in debian proper.

Hi,

Amazing news!

This means, that I (we?) have to get debhelper things up-to-seed quicker and improve things under "debian" directory.

Are you on IRC channel?

I'm [] this close to attaining DD status (just working through the
application process now). I'd love to help sponsor these uploads and
contribute to the packaging as well. :)

If they're of archive quality I'll happily sponsor an upload. Our
internal packages never quite got to the point where I was happy to
upload them though.
