First, I've aquired mogilefs.com/net/org and set them all up to redirect
to google code. As much fun as it is, it's a lot of effort to make a
really nice site, and I'm burnt from sprucing up a certain other project
;)
Second, I've ported the pbworks wiki over to google code wiki and locked
both down a bit. We were getting an awful lot of spam at the old one, and
google code is common for other things I work on.
http://code.google.com/p/mogilefs/wiki/Start?tm=6
... I ported the old docs and updated some a bit. I'm tired now, but will
continue to drop 20-30 minutes every other day to improve what's there.
The next major thing to document are replication policies. I can add
mogadm interfaces to it at the same time, I think...
If you want to help out with the wiki, just go ahead and ask for access.
It's only gated to avoid spam, anyone who wants a chance to edit can have
it. If you want ideas ask, and I'll give you some.
On that same note, if there's some thing you run into or some trouble you
had during setup, feel free to e-mail me privately or respond to this
thread for requests for stuff to document.
Like that whole "don't point trackers at different sides of an
active-active database pair" - that would be good to go up, I think...
have fun,
