Has anybody managed to install mod_wsgi on CentOS 5.3? I get a lot of
errors when running 'make' that is way over my head ... is there a
mod_wsgi 2.3 package that can also be used on CentOS 5.3?

There are 2.4 rpm packages here:

http://codepoint.net/attachments/mod_wsgi/

Do:

#yum --nogpgcheck localinstall mod_wsgi-2.4-1.el5.arch.rpm

Or localupdate in instead of localinstall if you have the Centos
mod_wsgi 2.1 rpm package installed.

Your errors are most likely going to be because you don't have the
prerequisite 'dev' packages for Apache and Python installed on your
system. Details of required packages are mentioned in the README with
the source code.

Since you haven't posted what the errors are, this is only a guess though.

Hopefully the separate RPM that someone pointed out to you works and
then you don't have to worry about it.
