Modelsim License problem

Hello guys , I have downloaded the latest version of Modelsim student
edition , again , the problem is that i don't have internet connection
on the other computer which i have to work on , so after installing
the program , i cant apply for a license request . how i can get a
license offline .

This is a good question!. I am also interested in knowing the
authorized contact person issuing a non-commercial purpose license. If
any one from Mentor can help, please reply.

There is no way to get a license for ModelSim PE Student Edition
without a web connection.

Dear BluedC,

while you are reading this reply from any internet based device , go to :
http://portal.model.com/d/license_request.asp
and fill in the form , where this form is the license request form of
ModelSim PE Student Edition 10.1 ,
then check you e-mail again , you will get a license file and
instruction abou how to use it , copy the license file and the
instructions to any portable storage media.

Now , go to your computer device that have ModelSim installed on it
, but does not have internet connection .Insert your storage media and
follow the instructions sent to you. That's all.

BlueC - What Muhammad describes will not work.

That page is only active during a live session it cannot be bookmarked. The installer will launch that page as it needs information from your PC like your MAC address to generate the license.

If you never get to that page during the installation process, that means something on your system is preventing the browser window from opening.

This is the only way to get a Student Edition License - it's automated process.
