PRoblems in downloading the software

I have been trying to download the ModelSim PE Student Edition for 2
days now, unsuccessfully. I fill out the form with my details, and i
am shown a new page with a ftp link. the page reads
The following password and URL will provide access to the ModelSim FTP
server. Please note that the password and URL will only be active for
one hour. Simply click on the following URL

ftp://URLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURLURL.exe

but when I click on the link, nothing happens, it just sits trying to
download but doesn't download anything. I have tried google chrome as
well as mozilla/firefox

I also don't see password. Do I get the password after I download the
file?
How do I download it??

I suspect that your browser is doing something to the link because I
don't have that problem. I'm able to get a valid ftp link which lets
me download and save the modelsim-pe_student_edition.exe file.

Delete your browser cache and try again.

Wel Aditiya follow the following link and download it using OPERA(not
necessory) . Its Modelsim 6.4C SE. The pack includes everything.
