  Dear Chris, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;As I understand it - ModelSim PE is NOT supported on ANY version of Windows 7, only on XP. Try again the tech support and check with them. &lt;br&gt; Anyway, don&#39;t be annoyed - switch to XP (maybe via a virtual machine). I&#39;m running it on a Fedora machine with a virtual Win XP (using VMWare).

  Hi @ all, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Im working with the student version of Modelsim, I have dowloaded the &lt;br&gt; latest version (6.5b) and the licence and copied it to the root &lt;br&gt; folder(C:\dev\Modeltech_pe_edu _6.5b). &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Now to the problem: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Im using &amp;quot;vsim -voptargs=+acc work.tdm_bert_tb&amp;quot; as my run command. &lt;br&gt; My only error report is:

Even after installation, Iam getting this error. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Any suggestions ?   I got the same error, after the whole process of downloading the &lt;br&gt; program, and the ini settings in the wrong directory and finally I got &lt;br&gt; the &lt;br&gt; more time, this program sucks, fortunately there are really free &lt;br&gt; programs as verybest. Maybe modelsim is good but after &amp;quot;using&amp;quot; the &lt;br&gt; student edition I would not buy modelsim never.
