Dear Chris,
As I understand it - ModelSim PE is NOT supported on ANY version of Windows 7, only on XP. Try again the tech support and check with them.
Anyway, don't be annoyed - switch to XP (maybe via a virtual machine). I'm running it on a Fedora machine with a virtual Win XP (using VMWare).

I am becoming increasing annoyed at the moment.
I have installed this on windows 7 x64 didint work email tech support
said that it was not supported. Thought ok 64 bit isnt ill try it on
32 bit. Still no luck, maybe firefox was screwing up the lisence key
nope not that.
So now it will not work on x32 build 7100 of 7 and x64 build 7600
(final) professional
My question is does anyone have this running on windows 7 and if so
HOW??
I put the lisence file in the following directory that is correct
right??
C:\Modeltech_pe_edu_6.5a\win32pe_edu
Any idea anyone i would love to be able to get it working at home!
Chris
