About a year ago the starter bendix came apart on my 28 two-door
sedan. I replaced the starter and bendix. When I removed the starter,
the bendix was just hanging on the end of starter. It was apparent
that part of the bendix had came off and was still in bell housing.
Ever since this happened the engine has a bad vibration. Could a piece
of the bendix or a bolt or nut be stuck between flywheel and housing
or clutch and be causing this vibration. Car starts easy and runs
great except for this vibration.

if its vibrating, the part must be hung up in the pressure plate, and
spinning around with the engine. Remove the floorboards, and
then remove the inspection plate on the bell housing, then look into the
bell housing with a flashlight, hopefully you will see the part, and be able
to fish it out.
Good luck with it.
