to Mobile Twin Cities
Wow!! What a great turnout for our first ever meeting of the Mobile
Twin Cities Group! The meeting was above and beyond my wildest
expectations. I learned a lot of information with great conversation
and contribution from everyone. I'm very excited for the future of our
group. Thank you again to everyone who showed up last night at the
meeting, it was great to meet all of you and look forward to future
meetings!

Just wanted to followup with some action items left from the meeting.
I will most likely start separate discussion threads on some these
topics, or feel free to start one yourself.

1. Format - It was suggested that we keep the same open discussion for
part of the time and introduce a presentation by whomever is
interested and available. Nick volunteered to talk about Symantic Web
next month and I volunteered to talk about Rhodes in May, (however I
just realized I'll be at google I/O in May, so maybe we'll both
present or swap something around)

2. Location - The Dunn Bros. was OK for a meeting, but it was
difficult at times to hear very well with all of the background noise.
there was a number of suggestions on places for future meetings. I'll
start a separate thread on this.

3. Date/Time - We now have an official date and time! We will meet the
third Tuesday of every month. I'll take care of updating the website
with this information.

4. Twitter hash tag. We will using the #mobiletc hash tag for tweets
related to the group. Also, as you recall our twitter name is
mobiletc, so you can use @mobiletc if you want to link to anyone.

5. Website - I would like to add a scrolling twitter feed on the
website that shows tweets when people use #mobiletc (not too hard with
the search API of twitter). I will update the website with the
upcoming topics, location, et, but really if anyone is interested feel
free to take a stab at a design if you are interested. We are trying
to funnel all people to http://mobiletwincities.com . Also, don't
forget the group photo. We'll have to try and post that on the site
some where too. =)

6. Logo - Jeremy, Nate and anoyone else interested is welcome to take
a stab at the logo. Maybe we'll make a contest out of it and vote at
one of the upcoming meetings. I'm willing to chip in for bumper
stickers or any other marketing material we think would be fun to
build the community.

7. Future topics - Mobile Monday / Mobile Portland sites. Was
suggested that we maybe look at their sites for future presentation
ideas.

Wow! We covered a lot last night. Anyone is welcome to start a thread
to further discuss these specifics and put ideas out. Right now I see
our next meeting be on Tuesday, April 21st with Nick talking about
Semantic Web and mobile. We just need to lock in on a location.
Looking forward to keeping the discussion going!

Justin
