K550 not recording any points

Hi, I recently bought an Emtac Copilot and I'm using it with MTE v1.14
on my SE K550. It's showing its position and otherwise working, but it
never records more than one point, whatever settings I try in the
recording menu. It doesn't work with the v1.15 beta either but a
random old version I tried (v1.4) is fine.

I've looked around here and it looks like it may be a known thing, so
is there a reason why it doesn't work with this combination, and might
it ever work again in the future? I've tried a couple of other
programs, and the phone and receiver do work fine with each other, but
I'd still prefer to use MTE if I could.

I believe a patch to this issue has been applied but a binary is not yet available.
I have just compiled the latest r625, you can try how it works on ur phone.
I use a k790 myself.
