I've activated the Google Groups option that messages from new members will be help for moderation. This is the most reliable spam control I've seen before on boards like this.
It will get frustrating for newbs if moderation is slow, so we need volunteers. This means you'll get a mail each time a message needs moderation, and most of the time when you click through its legit and you never have to deal with that user again.
It's best if there are more people doing moderation (like 10 would be awesome).
So if you don't mind helping let me know and I'll add you as a moderator. For now it is me and Jens and Dale.
If there is a better way to deal with spam on these groups, lemme know.
