TouchDB Android status?

Hello,

I saw that TouchDB iOS is nearing a 1.0 release. Are there any status updates or estimated timeline for TouchDB Android? I noticed no commits have been made to GitHub in a few months. Any ballpark ideas for when TouchDB Android will be nearing a 1.0 release?

It’s been on informal hiatus, because Marty’s been kept busy with other projects.

The good news is that, now that Couchbase Server 2 is nearly out the door, Marty will soon have the cycles to work on it again.

Any ballpark ideas for when TouchDB Android will be nearing a 1.0 release?

It’s too early to say, but we should have a better idea in a month or so.

My very informal guess: when the snows of winter melt, and the song of the robin is heard again in our land, yea, then may we see TouchDB for Android rise in its full glory.

The status is the same as it was last month.  But I am closer to working on TouchDB-Android again.  I updated my Android SDKs this morning, and hope to do some actual work on it this week.
