Hello

I got two session-id at SNR request, the first one is at the correct
position and the flag is correct (0x40). The second one is unnecessary
and made some trouble for me. because the flag of the 2nd one is 0x00,
HSS responded with invalid AVP bits. is it a known issue? How can I
remove the 2nd session-id AVP? thanks, bin

Hi Bin,

Can you please provide the Mobicents Diameter version and product (SLEE/MSS) you are using?

It should not happen in latest versions, since we included a validator which should catch those kind of mistakes.

How to upgrade diameter at MSS-1.1

Hello, I found the new release. But I still have questions on how to
deploy it to MSS1.1.

Here are some basic info you may need to answer my question:

1) new diameter release
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mobicents/files/Mobicents%20Diameter/mobicents-diameter-1.1.1.GA/

2) Current installation

diameter comes with MSS JBOSSversion:
MSS-1.1-jboss-5.1.0.GA-0912031221-TECH-PREVIEW.zip
Java version 1.6.0_07-b06
Linux 2.6.24-24-server

Question I have:
Do I need to install the following components by put DU file at
deploy directory one by one? Or there is a better way to deply them?

Core:
» Mobicents jDiameter Stack v1.5.3.0-build350
» Mobicents Diameter Mux v1.1.1.GA

Resource Adaptors:
» Mobicents Diameter Base RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter CCA RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Sh-Client RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Sh-Server RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Ro RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Rf RA v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Cx/Dx RA v1.0.0.BETA3

Examples:
» Mobicents Diameter Base Example v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter OpenIMS Example v1.1.1.GA
» Mobicents Diameter Cx/Dx Example v1.0.0.BETA2

Thanks,

Bin

Hi Bin,

All you need is this http://sourceforge.net/projects/mobicents/files/Mobicents%20Diameter/mobicents-diameter-1.1.1.GA/mobicents-diameter-mux-jboss5-1.1.1.GA.sar.zip/download since the remaining DUs are to be used with JAIN SLEE Server.

Replace the existing mobicents-diameter-mux-<version> directory on the deploy folder of MSS.
