Hi all,

Attached is the report of the latest soak test on MSS 1.0.GA.

The tests consisted in 120 Million calls where MSS acted as UAS. Call rate was 450 caps, using UDP as transport protocol.

Total test duration was 74 hours.

CPU usage was around 50% and total memory was stable at 52 %

There was a period of 15 seconds that the server stop to respond, causing most of the failed calls.

There was also a period of 3 hours were there was a failure on the statistics
collection. From the cumulative counters we know that there were no failures during that period.

These results show a clear improvement in performance over the previous versions, but we are not happy yet ...

Regards,

The test was conducted under the following conditions:

Host: perf08.qa.atl.jboss.com

Processor: 2 x (Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2220 SE, 2800.436 MHz, cache size: 1024 KB)

[lbarreir@perf08 ~]$ cat /proc/meminfo
MemTotal:      8234060 kB

[lbarreir@perf07 ~]$ uname -r

MSS 1.0.GA with SimpleSipServlet example from SVN and all logs disabled. Concurrency control set to 'NONE' (default). Congestion control interval set to -1. 64 jain-sip threads and UDP signaling protocol
