Mobicents Diameter v1.1.2.GA Released!

We are happy to announce a new Mobicents Diameter release, v1.1.2.GA !

What's new in this release?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- jDiameter Improvements:

   > Universal thread model (Concurrent layer);

   > Statistics Layer and Logger;

- Performance Improvements

   > Thread management improved;

   > Async Application Session FSM;

- Extended Message and AVP Validation Configuration:

   > Global: Enable or Disable validation globally;

   > Direction: OUTGOING and/or INCOMING;

   > Depth (per direction): MESSAGE or ALL (nested AVP validation);

- Jopr Management and Monitoring Plugin¹;

- Ro/Rf Example Applications²;

- Diameter User Guide updated;

- Several bug fixes and enhancements.

Notes:

¹: This a preview version of the Diameter Jopr Plugin, most features are 

   fully functional but many more should be added in the final version.

   For instruction on how to use it please refer to JAIN SLEE Jopr Plugin

   Installation Section (http://bit.ly/8Xvikm).

²: Ro/Rf examples are not included in the release pqackage, they can be found

   and built from the SVN repository.

Will Diameter releases ever be bundled with the main SLEE container
like SIP RA or will these RAs follow a seperate release schedule like
they currently are?

Mobicents JAIN SLEE 2.x releases already include the Diameter 2.x Resource Adaptors. 

What will happen after SLEE 2.0.0.GA (when Diameter should move to 1.2.x series, and based on 2.x RAs), and since all the components can be independently released, is the Resource Adaptors to be both included in JAIN SLEE 2.x and Diameter 1.2.x releases.
