Hi,
I am using mobicents as a presece server for open IMS. In open
IMS, I configure the presece server Diameter FQDN as
presece.openimscore.
then I use a client to send a publish request:
PUBLISH X...@presence.openimscore
.....

IMS then forward this request to mobicents. However, mobicents cannot
recgnize the realm of presence.openimscore. So it give me a 500 server
internal error.

How should I configure the realm of mobicnets?

Thank you in advance.

You configure the DIAMETER FQDN ??? Please clarify what this means.

Where exactly do you configure the domain name ? Have you configured your local DNS server installation with the realm of the Presence server ?

Hello,

The Diameter FQDN configured in Open IMS is used for Diameter Sh
requests: it does not intervene in the PUBLISH process.
Nevertheless, the Mobicents Presence Server can refuse the PUBLISH
requests if the Terminating IOI ( a realm present in the P-Charging-
Vector header)
is different from the one configured in Mobicents. The default value
for that parameter is "mobicents.org" (hardcoded) but it can be
modified with PresenceManagement (I have to confirm the right name)
MBean.

Hope this helps.

The correct MBeans are:
sippresence=SipEventPublicationControl : for PUBLISH requests
sippresence=SipEventSubscriptionControl : for SUBSCRIBE requests

Hello,

I might need your help in my turn. Have you been able to PUBLISH your
presence status into the Presence Server?
I get a "user is not authaurized to publish" from the server. For XDM
I get a 405 HTTP response when I try to put documents.
Can you tell me how you managed?

Thanks in advance.

405 on XCAP would mean that your client is trying a POST operation to
put the document on the XDM. POST operations shall return 405 as per
the spec. Which client are you using?

Detailed logs would help (for the xcap interface as well as for your
sip interface problem)
