Mobicents JSR-309 Impl 2.0.0.BETA2 Released!

We are happy to announce the binary release of Mobicents JSR-309 implementation 2.0.0.BETA2 !

Mobicents JSR-309 impl can be used to control not only Mobicents Media Server but any Media Server that understands MGCP control protocol. Look at Mobicents JSR-309 Impl home page http://www.mobicents.org/mms-jsr309-main.html

The BETA2 release reflects the latest changes of JSR-309 API. To understand the changes please look at media-jsr309-servlet example at http://code.google.com/p/mobicents/source/browse/#svn/trunk/servers/sip-servlets/sip-servlets-examples/media-jsr309-servlet

Please note that JSR-309 is still under Public Review and not final yet. Hence there is probability that the API may change further. But Mobicents JSR-309 impl will not follow the API changes on regular basis unless and until there is big change.

In BETA2 javax.media.mscontrol.MediaConfig is implemented, which allows to configure the mapping between JSR-309 client side and MGCP signals/events etc. Also now its possible to configure the Endpoint name used by JSR-309 to fire signals/ events on Mobicents Media Server.
