Subject: Moab exploit
Hi there - I am new to the group - I apparently have the exploit - I
have erased and installed and now having done that - find this on
repair

Permissions differ on ./private/var/log/secure.log, should be -
rw------- , they are -rw-r-----
Owner and group corrected on ./private/var/log/secure.log
Permissions corrected on ./private/var/log/secure.log

I have dragged a few things from a clone of my old system but
certainly not the whole user folder and still appear to be infected -
it seems the only real fix is to install an app that allows admin
priveleges and then a fix written by someone else

can someone advise me on what I should do to fix this - I am not sure
if this is the cause of my frequent beach ball and stuff like - an app
not responding to hide or show comands or having an app up and using
it altho the last app is the one showing in the menu bar and am unable
to use commands in the file menu or other pull down menus - this
appears to be a ram issue but am not sure - if there is activity not
showing in the activity monitor that could act like a ram problem
correct?
