The fourth annual conference of the Minnesota STEM Network will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at St. Catherine University in St. Paul. Our conference will reach a new dimension this year by offering additional access
to the SciMath update, featured speaker, and 20 of the 35 breakout sessions via live webcast.
At this year's conference you will enjoy many opportunities to network with colleagues committed to STEM education and workforce development as well as the keynote speaker, structured networking, and a selection of seven sessions during five breakout periods.
The wide variety of sessions will appeal to the business, education, government, nonprofit, and community sectors that attend this conference.
Conference fees: Attendance in St. Paul - $59. Participation via live webcast - $25.

Pre-registration: Pre-registration will be open from now up to the end of the day on May 8th. Those who register after May 8th, including same-day registration, will purchase lunch separately in the dining hall in the Coeur de Catherine.
Keynote: Dr. Linda Rosen, CEO of Change the Equation, will keynote this year's annual conference. Please see the article below.
Sessions: The conference will also feature breakout sessions on exemplary STEM programming or collaborations from across Minnesota. The breakout periods are themed according to the five goals of the network.
Location: The conference will be held on the third floor of Coeur de Catherine, the student center of St. Catherine University. Coeur de Catherine (building #8 on campus map) is located between the Recreation Center and the Chapel. Parking is free
in the O'Shaughnessy lot or the south side of Randolph Avenue.
If it isn't possible to travel to St. Paul for the conference, consider registering to participate via webcast. The full description of sessions (download from the mnstemnet webpage) identifies sessions which will be webcast.
Note that a high-speed internet connection (a 1.5 DSL service minimum), wired connection or strong wireless connection, and a Silverlight plug-in are necessary to display the webcast. By registering for webcast participation you can view one or more conference
sessions throughout the day. Online webcast registrants will receive an email a few days before the conference guiding them through a test connection to the Panopto server. URLs for individual sessions will be forwarded to webcast registrants in advance of
the conference.
