Subject: Licensing question

Hi Peter,

I was wondering how I might go about licensing the algorithm for commercial purposes. Whom do I have to go to? The SuperMemo people or Mnemosyne? I'd like to know the details of the process.

Thanks.

The SM2 algorithm itself is in the public domain, as far as I know.

But note that you're not allowed to reuse parts of Mnemosyne's code in a
closed-source, commercial product. The only exception is the code for
the sync client, so that commercial clients can easily sync with Mnemosyne.

Cheers,

Peter
