An acquaintance of mine has the opportunity to win
$10,000 from Kodak. His video is in the final ten in
a contest where Kodak selected "commercials" from
submissions by Best Buy store employees across
the nation.

wins ten grand. Really.

So what's in it for us, Lumberacks and Jam Ladies
alike?

First, it's a funny video. But if spoofing the recently
departed Billy Mays offends you, well, consider
yourself forewarned. I believe Billy would be laughing
his ass off -- until he remembered that Kodak should
have hired *him*.

Second, if "Billy Mays" wins you'll have done your part
to bring some new money into the state in the form of
taxes levied on his prize money. What's the rate on
that in Minnesota, 50%?? Maybe we can use $5k to
fix a pothole.
