There's still a few nights to go before New Years Eve, but it's not too soon
to try to come up with some resolutions.

All I've got so far is, I should try to be less of a douche. Do you think
that about covers it?

I resolved many years ago to quit making New Years resolutions. It's the only
resolution I've ever been able to keep. ;-)

LOL.

ps - You don't need the smiley when the post is actually funny.

In all seriousness, the fewer the better and the easier to work on. I think
in the coming year I will put all of my efforts into trying not to
personalize everything so much.

I like to use the winking emoticon when I'm being sarcastic or facetious.

Those don't often translate well from the written word alone.

Credit Scott with two points for using
the word "emoticon" in a sentence.

Online or in real life? Online, just remind yourself "it's just a
newsgroup." In real life, good for you!

lol

Now I just need to find a way to slip the word 'ampersand' into a
casual conversation. ;)

I find that "Hey Fred, take a look at that there ampersand" works quite
well.
