Can anyone help? i just downloaded google chrome ,should i have this as my main browser?
it is sitting in bar at bottom of my macbook at the moment ,if it is the best one to use how do i get it to take over normal google that comes up when i open safari? sorry about layout of post

I used chrome as my main browser these days. I think that each tab has
its own ring-fenced area of memory so if one page crashes it's just
that tab, not the whole browser that crashes.

Hello Dave

Assuming you've been using Safari up till now for your web browsing antics, try Chrome out and see if you fancy using it as the default web browser rather than Safari. If you do, open Safari and go to the main Safari menu and choose Preferences. In the general tab you'll see the option for Default Web Browser and you'll be able to select Chrome from the list. Now, whenever you click on a web link such as this one, it'll open in Chrome.


Fancy going back to Safari? No sweat.... Open him back up and change the Default Web Browser back again.
