I have just noticed that my Gmail spam box has a nice selection of
*real* spam recipes at the top which you can scroll through. Perhaps
at future MMUg meetings one of the more culinary members of MMug
should cook one for a spam tasting session? :-)

The spam recipes have been terrifying me for years. They're from
recipesource.com and the first one on the list is "Coconut Beer Batter
Spam with Raspberry Horse". I think they means sauce rather than
horse, but you never know. If you'll eat spam, you'll eat anything.

Spam with raspberry, coconut and beer. It's enough to give a girl an
eating disorder!

Traumatic memories of spam fritters (correct pronunciation being
'instant indigestion').

I *love* spam fritters. The only problem with that being that they go
straight to flab on me.

But it's made out of the faces of defenceless pigs! And their curly
little tails! And anything else too grim to go into an economy
sausage...

(Oh how I love to put people off their lunches and generally lower the tone.)

I looked a bit closer and the Horse is actually Horseradish sauce, just to give it that added kick :-)

defenceless pigs? so why not train them to use guns and send them to Iraq....

<the cheeks are the sweetest meat of any mammmmmmal.... spammmmmmmm  lammmmmmbbb....>

my fave recipe is : Peanut Butt n Spam Fingers
1. Open jar of peanut butter
2. Open tin of spam
3. Use any 3 fingers
4. enjoy

tip: I usually find my index, middle and ring fingers are the best when eating alone, but if entertaining, add you little finger to grab more!!!

Regards

Spam helped this country win a war and don't you forget it! If it
weren't for spam, we'd all be speaking German!

This would be true had we dropped it on them instead of the nasty
things that went bang.

Because apparently we already sent over giant man-eating badgers!

I like the idea of dropping Spam instead of bombs, that way we would
dramatically reduce our defence budget. And get rid of all the Spam...

spam bombs, that's just plain silly... tomato ketchup sachets, in the hands of 1, 3 and 5 year olds make a far superior mess...

The idea is not to give the enemy something they may well like, ie tomato ketchup, but to bombard them with horrible stuff, ie S(h*t)P(osing)A(s)M(eat).
