Hello all,

I have been working on getting mysql-mmm added to Fedora {11, 12} and eventually EPEL 5 (once the packages bake in Fedora a while). The packages have finally been approved and are now submitted for testing.

https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/mysql-mmm-2.0.10-4.fc11,perl-Net-ARP-1.0.6-2.1.fc11

I would appreciate any feedback you might have on it. I think this is a really solid package set, and have not come across any issues during testing (except potentially something to do with log4perl and MailFatal). That said, in order for the packages to make it into the distribution the packages need 'karma'. Karma for each update [listed] above can be submitted anonymously so you don't require an account to login. If possible, a detailed account of how you tested would be extremely appreciated. I can test RPM installation and basic functionality all day, but you all know the core application better than anyone.

Please don't feel obligated if you don't have time or resources available for testing. Just wanted to ensure you all had a first glance before addition to the distros.

TESTING INFORMATION

- Click one of the above links, takes you to the update page
- Packages for the release can be found by clicking the link under 'Builds'.
- yum install mysql-mmm mysql-mmm-agent --enablerepo=updates-testing
- Add a comment to the above update pages, and you can select "works for me" or "doesn't work for me"

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Hello all,

mysql-mmm-2.0.10 is now generally available from both Fedora 11, and
12. After some time, we will also make it available for RHEL5 via
EPEL. Should you have any issues with the packages themselves, please
report them via http://bugzilla.redhat.com.

Thank you.
