Save the Date: Dec 17 1pm Editorial Meeting @ AlFishawy Cafe
Maryland Media Collective
On Sunday, December 17th at 1pm, there will be an Editorial meeting at AlFishawy Cafe where we can talk about hot stories, research and collaborate on coverage and do more investigative journalism. We invite all media Radio, Print, TV, Web to join us once a month., ideally on a regular basis, like the 3rd Sunday of the month or so (Please email if Sundays at 1pm are good for you?)
It is also intended to recap the progress made since the meeting at Cafe Mawonaj last July and where to go from here.
The first meeting is scheduled for Sunday the 17th at 1pm, at AlFishawy Cafe, 4132 Georgia Avenue NW Washington DC, between Upshur and Taylor, 3 blocks North of Petworth Metro station on the green line, bus #70/71/64

Also, a media collective is forming at the University of Maryland to further our media efforts and bring young people into the picture. We expect some of them to attend and become more familiar with everyone.
