Subject: This week: Preventing rape and Envrionmental Sustainability at UMD (TFRP)

Peace, hope everyone's week is going great. Please listen in live (or later,
on the archives) this week to That Fresh Radio Piece, as we have...

1)Miranda Vargas and Nickie Babayeva from Student Advocates For Edcuation
About Rape (SAFER).

They'll be speaking on the fact that news coverage and the general dialogue
about last week's sexual assaults have failed to mention that most rapes are
committed by acquantices of the   woman sexually assaulted. 1 in every 4
women will experience a rape or attempted rape in their college years; to
stop this social crime there must be dialogue, cooperation and action
between the sexes.

2)Mark Stewart, from Sustainability at University of Maryland

Stewart will join us to talk about the efforts to keep UMD as a university
aware of environmental degradtion. Sustainability at UM works toward
reducing Americans' consumption of resources, so as to not compromise the
lives of future generations and their needs.

You can listen in live from 6-8pm Wednesday or check it out later on the
archives at wmucradio.com

also, check out our website Thatfreshradiopiece.com
(new show up soon!)
