My work flow looks like:
1. do calculations like normal
2. go back and add commands to export DocBook figures tables, and
equations
3. write xml document in oXygen (an XML editor), using xi:include (that
is the name of an xml element) to include my figures, tables, and
equations
4. render document to multiple formats

If you're on Windows, I believe the correct one to select is:
"XEP for Windows Trial"
The download form should create an account for you on the XEP website
and make an executable download (an installer) available to you when

This is exactly what I use, so I should be able to help you.
I wrote them quickly. If more questions are asked, I will be able to

I want to use mmade in order to convert Mathematica materials into HTML
(and possible PDF, too). This is under Windows XP.
I am trying to follow your installation instructions about the "other
tools", in particular
